Airtel - Landline phone not working

We are Airtel landline customers for the last ** years or so with our telephone number being ****-*******.

Frequently our landline number mentioned above goes out of order. For example, as of now, the same is not functioning for the last * weeks continuously.

Despite innumerable visits to the local office of Airtel in the nearby JLB Road, Mysore and also to your other local offices (in Mysore), there is no person even to register our complaints and also receive the written requisitions in this regard. After several attempts to contact some senior person in the office, which proved to be futile, we gave a letter asking for a permanent disconnection of the line.

It was then that some people came from inside the office and started to convince us. One of them spoke to us little politely and promised to get the line fixed, and also 'obliged' to give his mobile number.

But even after several phone calls and personal visits, there has been no response and the landline remains dysfunctional and there is no sign of any retribution at any level.
