I had booked rountrip journey from Pune-Dehradun and Dehradun-Pune... Onward journey was **th May and return was **st June.
Ticket was booked by JP miles. Travelers were one adult and one infant. Since JP miles cant be used to book tickets for infant, we were told by Jet Airways executive that sum of approx *k to be paid at counter for roundtrip to get infant ticket (pls note infant will be charged but wont be allocated a seat).
To my horror, infant was charged close to *K for the trip (he was charged close to *.* k on both legs of journey)!!!!!
When Jet airways was contacted, they gave no explanation and kept on beating around the bush (though they agreed that infant was charged close to *K for the trip)
If the infant is not given a seat, what is the rationale of chargin *K >???.. just because other ticket is purchased by JP mile, does it mean Jet airways has this way of looting customer??
Tried to sort this issue with Jet Airways customer care, but all they came out with was sophisticated English "sorry but we cant do anything".
This is a ridiculous way of cheating and needs to be taken care of.
I am attaching the email evidence that they charged *K for an infant (less than * years old)
