My aunt was to fly back home to New Zealand . She being above ** years required wheelchair assistance. We reached the airport and the assitant took her inside. God knows what happened inside as around **.** I saw that man coming back with my aunt . He informed me that she has been late so the check in counter is closed. I ran from pillar to post requesting them to help the old woman who was in shock for having missed the flight. the staff was unmoved and in no mood to help. they asked me to book a fresh ticket so as to catch the connecting flight. They were unaware of the fact that the flight was late by an hour.
I have been writing to air india, duty manager and airport authorities but no one has responded so far. I request you to go through the cctv footage.
I want my compensation as the air india staff was at fault and we were harrassed and traumatised. my aunt was taken for a ride inside for ** minutes again and this time she came out with a different porter.
I am attaching receipt of my cab ride to airport that day.
