I had booked * tickets from Ahmedabad to Mumbai Central of which * was confirmed and other were WL*. i went to mumbai central railway station for ticket transfer of the confirmed ticket(my wife). They said no need to do it as yours is WL* and once u cancel ur confirmed ticket of your wife the WL* will automatically get cancelled. to my shocket it did not happen and i went through horrific situation
