I am facing heating issues while charging and sometimes during normal usage on my iPhone **. I have been experiencing this problem for a couple of months now. I called Apple customer support on **th May'**, and they diagnosed the issue remotely, concluding that there was no problem. Then I visited the service center, where they checked my device and found nothing in the diagnostics, so they said they couldn't do anything and said to contact customer care if you still have a problem.
I contacted customer support right away, and they advised me to restore the device with iTunes and wait for ** hours. However, even after the restore, my phone was getting hot while charging. When I called again after ** hours, the senior advisor informed me that they are still checking with their internal team, but I'm unsure of what they are checking. Now after ** hours, Apple customer support is asking for timestamps of when it gets hot and cool down (I am not able to understand why timestamps matter when the device gets hot while charging even if it is in shutdown state. Now again telling me to wait for ** hours. This Loop is never ending.)
After providing them the logs, the team is saying everything is ok even though the phone is overheating and due to that my charging is getting paused every time.
I have also used other models of iPhones and Android phones with ** to ***W charging, but they didn't have this type of heating issue like the one I'm facing with the iPhone ** using the original **W Apple charger.
I didn't buy this premium phone to face this heating issue. I am disappointed with Apple as no conclusion has been reached. I am fed up with calling again and again.
