Booked a ticket using HDFC SmartBuy portal, chosing Goibibo as the travel partner and only on the final page of the transaction, after making the payment, I realised that Goibibo had charged *% of the transaction value as convenience fee (Rs **** charges additional to the flight cost of Rs.*****) . I feel this fee is egregiously high and has opportunistic intent, given that the service charge on Goibibo's own website is only Rs. *** for the same flight. See attached screenshots, one from Smartbuy invoice, and other on the Goibibo portal.
My two years of blood & sweat got valued finally with Voxya. I got a full refund with no hustle after they received notice.
