I CALLED AIR INDIA CUSTOMER CARE * TIMES A DAY BEFORE MY FLIGHT TO ENQUIRE IF IT WAS COMPULSORY FOR ME TO DO A COVID TEST BEFORE BOARDING THE FLIGHT. THE CALL CENTER EXECUTIVES TOLD ME THAT IT WAS COMPULSORY ELSE THE FLIGHT MONEY WILL GO WASTE AS YOU WOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO BOARD THE FLIGHT
THIS SCARED ME SO I WENT AND DID A COVID REPORT ON A URGENT BASIS THAT COST ME **** RUPEES.
BUT DURING THE ENTIRE PROCESS OF BOARDING I WAS NEVER ASKED FOR MY COVID REPORT. I ASKED MY CO-PASSNEGERS IF THEY DID A COVID REPORT BEFORE FLYING, THEY TOLD THAT THEY DIDNT DO.
HENCEFORTH I DID A COVID REPORT COSTING **** WITHOUT ANY USE. PLUS IT CAUSED ME INCONVENIENCE SINCE IT WAS A DAY BEFORE MY FLIGHT
