I had reached Chennai airport, I had to catch Indigo airlines flight, during boarding pass issuance, the customer service executive said, there are * transferring flights, one from chennai to mumbai, where you have aisle seat and from mumbai to kolkatta, it will be emergency exit seat, where you can elevate your legs and sit comfortably, i agreed. Now when sitting for boarding, the time was ** pm, but no announcement was made that it will delay by **-** minutes, when i asked the flight crew members, she says the flight has just landed so boarding pass line will start late, it started by **:** pm, but flight started on time by **.** pm, during flight journey, nobody cares to ask if people need water or not, why cant the flight issue water bottles to all, its a basic essential, small water bottles can be issued, i fell asleep, i woke up by * pm, i rang the bell above our seat, nobody turned up to reduce a/c as was very chill, i just saw behind, one hostess was sitting, she was not doing duty in current flight, but was from Indigo airlines, she raised her eyebrows to ask, what you need, i was feeling cold and asked her to reduce, she said this is consistent, i asked her can you see the head count or population in the flight, more than half of seats were empty, she kept mum, i then realised, is this how she reacts, they are suppose to come to our seat or show attitude by asking through body language, as if she was dumb? another time i rang the bell, i needed water, again nobody turned up, this time i turned right, hostess said, we will offer you water while landing, i said i am feeling thirsty now, she just said sorry and kept mum, at the flight landing she offered me glass of water, i said i dont need, when a person is thirsty offer them,she was talking about safety etc., i said if i was dying wont you offer me water? Flight landed by *.** pm, it was delayed because it hardly takes *.** hours to reach from chennai to mumbai, i boarded the flight at **.** pm.
Again in the connecting flight, from mumbai to kolkatta, the boarding line started by *.** pm, it was suppose to be *.** pm, no prior announcement was made for delay in line, flight started by *.** pm, instead of *.** pm, while sitting in the flight, bags are supposed to be kept above in lockers, but i was keeping in my lap as i know its very chill during journey and i hug it and sleep, same way i did during *st flight, but this time they didn't allow and to my surprise the seat was middle instead of corner where i could elevate my legs, here the customer service agent offered me middle but told me lie that its corner, middle seat was cramped and normal like any other seat, then they shifted me to emergency exit seat, where i could extend my legs, again bags they insisted i said i will keep it with me itself, the hostess called ground force people, they tried convincing me, forcing me, i said no, they talked about rules etc., i said i cant, then one female hostess interfered saying you are wrong madam, you have to obey rules, i said i am talking to this person, why are you interfering, she said i will interfere and she kept moving harshly, i said to the other person, look at her attitude, is this how she speaks to customers, ground staff said, i will speak to her, ok you can keep the bag above in * mintues from the flight take off i will give bag to you again, i said, this you should have told earlier itself, he then left, again another hostess asked me to shift aisle seat and you keep bag with yourself, i shifted again.
After sometime, I asked again for water, the hostess said, she if offered the cockpit service, later will offer me water, i said i need it now, then she came with glass of water; I really felt upset and disappointed with this service of Indigo airlines, no manners, no time management, only thing they are bothered is money. I want to claim refund and compensation. I know the hostess names too, but ground staff name i dont know, hostess will be aware of. Can you help me in this issue.
Also, should i raise this complain in Indigo airlines website??
