Indigo Airlines - Bag damage in transit

My suitcase got damaged during my flight from Chennai to Delhi on May *th. My flight details can be provided upon request.
The suitcase, a Samsonite brand, was purchased for approx. **,*** INR and is less than two years old.
Upon contacting airlines they are merely offering me less than half of my loss .
They are referring to IndiGo’s Conditions of Carriage (“COC” Point **.*), due to which they are offering only ****. Which for me completely insufficient and does not reflect the actual value of the bag or the extent of the damage.
