Nand Kishore filed complaint against Goibibo on Sep 16, 2018
I had booked a Hotel for the daughter of my Boss at London, Euston Square Hotel on the Goibibo site, at around **.** am today vide their query no. HTL**NDJ*F.
They e-mailed me at around **.** pm that there is some problem and they are unable to confirm the said Hotel Booking. When I called their Customer Care Centre around *.** pm the Executive said they are unable to confirm due to technical problem, and when I asked them to call the Hotel directly and confirm me the same, they said that is not possible.
Again I brought out another fact to their notice that the Goibibo site even at *.**pm was taking booking for the same hotel and for the same dates involved, I asked them that “ is this not cheating” for all other customers like me who might want to book that same hotel for the same dates as mine. The Executive took down my complaint and gave me a Complaint No. ******** dtd **.*.****.
Even at *.**pm the site is still offering the same hotel for the same dates. I think that something BIG fraud kind of situation is being done deliberately by the company. My money gets stuck for * to ** days as per their mail. Is this the Digital Revolution all of us are waiting for ???? Then I think that a Big time bomb is ticking and the same may burst some day and in the process create a big dent in our INDIA progressing on the Digital front.
We are not equipped to handle such issues.
