Chappa vijaya durga filed complaint against Agoda Booking on May 17, 2024
We have booked hotel room (Great trails kodaikanal by GRT hotels) through agoda with checkin date as May **'**** and checkout date as May **'****.
We booked * different rooms for one each night according to our preference and hence we got rooms booked for the same hotel under * boooking id's - ********** (may ** checkin)

We booked the flights to madhurai from hyderabad on May ** at ** AM and the plan was to reach hotel through cab from madhurai airport which takes * hrs.
But unfortunately our flight on May ** th was cancelled by airlines and we were intimated about it on May *th around *pm. As soon as we got to know this, i tried cancelling the hotel booking in agoda but it shows no refund. Acoording to agida cancellation policy , the amount will be refunded if you cancel only before * days from the booking date and we are past * days by the time we got to know about flight cancellation. Hence they said money couldnt be refunded as per cancellation policy. So i wanted to raise a complaint againt agoda to consider some exceptional cases like these where customer didnt cancel from their end. If we cant reach to the place by that time and the transport got cancelled, how can we make it to the hotel? Will you be able to help on this case?
