AMIT KHEMCHANDANI filed complaint against SpiceJet airlines on May 22, 2020
I have booked tickets from Mumbai to Bagdogra and return vide below mentioned PNRs through SPICEJET.
Travel Date : **.**.****.
*. PNR - HGUC*U - Mumbai to Bagdogra.
*. PNR - GDQ*JQ - Mumbai to Bagdogra.
*. PNR - TIBYYH - Bagdogra to Mumbai
Sir this we planned a family tour in which we have * travellers including kids also. Now due to Corona Pandemic and the lockdown imposed, I was checking to cancel the tickets, however, the refund amount is very very low and too much charges are being deducted. I paid - Rs. **,*** all together to spicejet and refund amount shows- Rs. **-** thousand only and loss to me - **-** thousands. In this view I had been requesting SPICEJET to consider the situation of Corona Pandemic and Lockdown imposed where we are forced to cancel the tickets. The follow up with customer care, nodal office and appellate officer is attached herewith which is from **.**.**** to till date. Also I am attaching herewith tickets also. However, they have rejected my application mentioning that refund rules will be same only and there will not be any consideration in refunds.
In this view I request your good-selves to please consider the matter and instruct flight to please provide me refund of ***% of the booking amount as this is unforeseen situation and we have kids also and hence we cannot take big risk putting everybody's life in trouble due to Corona Pandemic and Lockdown situation.
