Hi,
My issue started from **rd July ****. I specifically called customer care and asked why I have been charged with Rs ***** card renewal charges, when I never authorized or permitted as I am out of Country and my card has expired in July ****. They gave me excuse that sir it is auto renewed ( I don't know why ) and we will take request for reversal and you just pay statement amount minus *****, which I did. the ticket number raised was ***********.
I got shock on **th Aug when statement generated with finance charges + GST + ***** + late fee + GST. they said sir reversal has been not done yet and as you didn't make the full payment, all these charges has been levied. A customer executive named Pooja again raised ticket *********** for membership charges reversal.
Again I called as my late free charges/finance charges were not reversed and Guy named Gautam took my request *********** for the same and asked me to pay **** as GST charges can't be reversed which I did in hope that this time it will be closed. I requested him, I don't want any further issues. He promised the same.
Again on **th Sep I got statement of **** Rs for late fee + GST + finance charges + GST. Again on **th Sep I called and the most inefficient customer executive named Aakash picked up the phone whose manager name is Ashish ( I am not sure how true are these names) , he said sir he will take request for all reversal and gave me ticket no *********** and gave me ETA of **nd Sep,
Again today on **th Sep when I called, customer executive named Aditya picked up the phone and explained, sir their is no request for late fee reversal, we just have finance charge reversal request. I am literally pissed of as I feel they are just playing with me. I asked Aditya to transfer call to someone sensible, he transferred call to lady name Cinderella, who again explained me that sir request never been taken for late fee reversal and latest finance charges + GST and again raised the request for the same with ticket no *********** with the SLA of *rd Oct and asked me to pay all the statement amount as they won't adjust these for current statement cycle. If I won't pay the cycle of this late fee + GST + Finance charges + GST will continue.
If you see I am harassed mentally by them from July **rd Jul ****, I have called them at least ** times and still issue is not closed and I must have been on phone for *-* hours (international calls). They are saying next statement cycle again I need to pay GST of Rs ** and if the reversal happens this time, I need to again call them for transfer of amount to my account.
This is full mental harassments by HDFC Bank and I am premium card holder, I am sure they must be literally killing normal cardholders.
I am in US and using COVID as a tool they are operating from **:** AM. I literally need to be awake till **:** AM to catch hold of them as they never call back me on US number but they always promise. While writing this message its *:** AM here. I feel someone needs to get hold of them otherwise they will continuously harass consumers like this only.
