Vinay Agnihotri filed complaint against Air India on Sep 10, 2019
I have booked above ticket for my Minor Son i ** Years and sequence of Events is as under-
*- Original Ticket was HYD DEL ROME BCN for * September ****.
*- I have not received any call or SMS from Air India regarding cancellation therefore my son reported at HYD airport at *.** AM. My home from Airport is ** KM.
*- At HYD airport he was informed that HYD DEL flight is cancelled and after standing one and half hours at Hyd airport Air India Counter Mr Vishal Singh Duty Manager rescheduled the flight as HYD DEL LHR BCN. No courtesy except for sorry and no help compensation offered.
*- My Son Vansh reported again at *:** PM at Air India Counter Hyd to catch his **.** flight to Del. Boarding Passes were issued after checking his document for HYD DEL LHR. He also cleared his immigration at Hyderabad and Boarded flight to Del and reached at **.**.
*- After clearing Security he immediately reported to Gate for LHR flight. At *.** AM boarding was announced but he was denied boarding by Air India Security at the gate stating that his document does not enable him to go via LHR but it is not true because on same document he has traveled to Spain in last three years via Doha, Dubai, Moscow, Munich and also two times to London. If documents were not correct how air india issued boarding pass and allowed him upto Delhi as that was an International flight. My son was treated like a criminal.
*- I somehow got the mobile number of Air India Duty Manager Mr Naveen ********** and spoke to him sent him all previous tickets Doha, on whats app .He realized mistake but flight was gone. At * AM he promised that within ** minutes my son will be in hotel and an earliest flight will be provided irrespective of Airline. Then he put my phone number on reject call I must have called him at least *** times and sent him sms also. But no response.
*- Finally after speaking to one gentle lady I don't recollect the name mobile number ********** she said though she is from domestic side but she understands my pain as she has the son of same age she went to the place and finally my son was sent to Hotel at *:** AM only to be called back at *.**. Leave refreshments aside after landing at **.** my son was not even offered water. I firmly believe that hotel drama was done to save skin of Mr. Naveen and Security staff of Air India who denied boarding to my son.
*- My son was supposed to attend his orientation in BCN on *th morning which he has already missed.
*- My Son was treated like criminal was kept awake for more than ** hours.
It was an Illegal detention and torture of Minor by Air India Staff for more than * hours and total suffering lasted for more than ** Hours.

I got my refund. You guys have really helped me when I needed it the most! Thanks again for your help :-)
