I am filing this complaint against Zomato regarding a serious food safety issue.
On **/**/**, I received a food order through Zomato in which a strand of hair was found inside the burger. This is a clear violation of food safety and hygiene standards.
I immediately reported the issue through the Zomato app and also provided video/image evidence. Despite multiple follow-ups, my complaint was not properly addressed. My refund request was denied without valid justification.
I escalated the matter to the National Consumer Helpline (Docket No: *******), however, the complaint was closed without a satisfactory resolution.
Due to this negligence:
* I had to discard the food
* I suffered financial loss
* I faced mental stress and inconvenience
This clearly reflects poor service and lack of accountability in handling a food safety concern.
I request:
*. Full refund of the order amount
*. Compensation for the inconvenience and negligence
*. Proper action to ensure such incidents do not happen again
I have attached all supporting evidence including images, videos, and complaint records.
Kindly take necessary action at the earliest.
