Bonny Kurien filed complaint against Amazon on Aug 8, 2020
I bought a queen size bed from Amazon which was delivered to me on *-*-****. The furniture assembly from Amazon was scheduled on *-*-****. No one contacted me or arrived at my residence. Subsequently I got an email that the furniture assembly has been rescheduled to *-*-****. No reason was provided for the delay. I got *contact numbers for technicians who were supposed to visit my address for furniture assembly on *-*-****. This was sent by VE care furniture team of Amazon. When I called both the numbers both of them said they are not affiliated with Amazon and they will not come to my address. The alloted service time passed and no one arrived. I have called Amazon numerous times and every time I talk to a new person they tell me to wait for **-** hours. I tried to talk to and escalate to a manager but CS reps refuse to transfer my call and ask me to wait for ** hours for a call back. No one calls me back. VE care replied to me stating that technician could not reach my number on *-*-**** and hence the appointment was cancelled. This is a lie as I was waiting for them to contact me and no one did. Even if they reached my residence they could have asked the security person to connect with me. No one did. Now they are asking me to reschedule. But the earliest date available is for **-*-****. The return/replacement window for the furniture ends on **-*-****. I have tweeted about this issue so many time but all in vain. I have sent multiple emails made several calls but all in vain as they are just not putting any effort to help me. Now if the return window expires if there is any damage I will have to suffer a loss of INR ****. Please help me. Strict action needs to be taken against Amazon as they are not being helpful and are literally cheating on me. Please help...
