Mohit Sharma filed complaint against Airtel on Oct 17, 2018
Airtel post paid was providing handset secure protection . I also apply for it and submit my all relevant details which was required. When my handset got accidentally damaged then i asked for the claim. They rejected because my mobile invoice and insurance name was different and in second hand ownership they rejected my claim on ** August. It was under their term and condition. After it i feel switch back to prepaid as i was unable to receive benefits of post paid services. On the very next day I asked the procedure from the custmor care executive that how i can switch back to prepaid but instead of helping me they suggest me to wait as they will help me to provide insurance . They asked me to apply again...the same way i did but the claim again got rejected after * days. I complaint them on email they again mis guided me and ensure me that "dont worry you will get claim have patience " i waited for ** days , i also send them call recordings where they mis guided me as an evidences and at the end they started ignoring my emails and Twitter complaints by not replying to them. Finally after ** days i received a call from airtel they asked for the apology and when i asked them for the insurance they strictly denied me and said you can compliant further and we cannot help you in this matter and sorry for the inconvenience caused by us. I asked them for the compensation that you have wasted my money as well as my precious time they also denied it and again asked for apology.
All my lose was covered in those * letters "APOLOGY"
This was totally illegal according to section *** and *** of IPC .
I need justice for this
