Nirav Shah filed complaint against Yatra on Jul 5, 2020
I had booked tickets for * members of my family. Due to COVID-** situation I had visited Mumbai Airport on **th March to enquire about my Flight status at AIR INDIA office (with in Airport).
From there i came to know all departure for Air India international flight had been cancelled till **st May and we are asked to cancel the ticket by Air India Counter person as we are eligible to get full refund.
Last Month I got refund from Yatra, but surprisingly Yatra deducted **,***/- INR Approx. (****/- cancellation charge per ticket) from the booking amount as a cancellation charges deducted by Air India and informed us that this amount was deducted by the airlines and not by them.
After registering complaint against that, we have been asked to get confirmation from Air India that they have issued full refund so they will pass same to me.
Yatra ask me to get it mentioned on cancellation slip (attached) given by Air India at time of cancellation with remark that: we (Air India) had initiated full refund to Yatra for my PNR
