I am facing frequent internet disconnections since Oct *, ****. When it does work the upload speeds are less than * Mbps going as low as *.** Mbps. I do WFH in a remote desktop session and remote desktop needs a stable upload speed as well. So basically internet was down **% of time since then. I complained and registered tickets on You Broadband several times but they just auto close the tickets without actually resolving the issue. One guy came on **/**/**** to inspect the issue and he told me to connect their modem directly. Fortunately the upload speed was less at that time even connecting directly(since it works **% of the time) else he would just said your router has a problem and closed the ticket. He took a photo of it and said the issue will be resolved next day. He asked for OTP for the ticket resolution. But it did not get fixed. I don't think anything happened at their side other than just closing the ticket.
I also upgraded my connection to a *** Mbps FUP based plan (that costs Rs ****) from a unlimited one thinking that the contention ratio would be lesser on a FUP based plan but that is not the case. I have lost a lot of hours and suffered mental stress because of You Broadband.
One more thing is that I cannot change my plan to a monthly subscription when they do advertise it on their site.
I am very pleased with Voxya. They helped me resolve my issue without much hassle. Very impressed and satisfied.
