Prayas filed complaint against OYO on Oct 3, 2021
I made pre payment of Rs**** for an hotel on OYO on **th June via online method.
On reaching hotel they said that they have broken their tie up with OYO but still their hotel is being shown on the app. I asked my money back and they insist me to cancel the booking and said you will get back refund. I was fully aware of cancellation policy and I said I won't. They said trust us you will get reimbursement, I was against it. I gave him my cell phone and ordered him (reception guy) to resolve the issue for me on OYO Service contact number. The phone was on speaker and he cancelled booking in front of me and said trust us, you will get your refund. I only got ***rs that too on oyo money. Give me a break man! I was so angry..
I told this matter to OYO and they said you will get a free stay as an reimbursement for this matter. It's been * months I talked to the OYO agent and still no action has been taken and still I dont get any reimbursement.
I called OYO again and they cant even file a complaint because everytime I get connect to the reservation desk even after * -** attempts to get connect to service agent. Every time I get connect to reservation desk. I think there is no such department in OYO. And they are fully aware of all the frauds and still dont take any action. I have my hopes high on Voxya. I will be highly obliged if you get my refund back.
I am very pleased with Voxya. They helped me resolve my issue without much hassle. Very impressed and satisfied.

I have booked an Oyo room today and made online UPI payment . The transaction was successful, money was deducted from my account but in the Oyo app it still shows payment pending.
I was denied check in at an oyo hotel after having a confirmed booking, I was told to pay extra to get a hotel room directly without a booking.
