Akasa Air - Formal Complaint Damaged Baggage by Akasa Air Immediate Refund or Replacement Demanded

On **/**/****, my checked baggage on Flight QP**** from Bengaluru to New Delhi was severely damaged. I filed Damage Report No. QP
********** and submitted photographs taken by the ground staff at the time of reporting.
Despite repeated request, Akasa Air offered only INR *,*** or a ₹*** voucher, which is grossly inadequate considering the extent and cost of
the damage.
The airline’s failure to provide a fair resolution has caused significant inconvenience, frustration, and mental distress. This conduct amounts to a
clear deficiency in service and an unfair trade practice under applicable consumer protection laws. Furthermore, the airline’s assertion of zero
liability for baggage damage, while offering a token amount merely as a “gesture of goodwill,” is unacceptable and demonstrates blatant disregard
for statutory obligations and consumer rights.
You are hereby called upon to repair or replace the damaged suitcase or refund its full value of ₹**,*** along with interest and
compensation for inconvenience, within ** days. Failure to comply will leave me with no option but to initiate legal proceedings under the
Consumer Protection Act, ****.
