Description
Sir i had done my Check-in for my flight and i was waiting to go for security clearance, suddenly * passengers came and threw their luggage at me and told me to get checked in with me. I told them i can’t, they told that they had a word with spicejet manager, and by the time i could say no they ran towards security clearance. Neither did the passengers nor the spicejet manager took my consent for the same. It was the managers fault because they arrived late for the flight, the boarding gates should have closed ** mins prior to departure and checkin gates prior to ** min before departure. Even then they were allowed. Next i told the manager i cannot checkin their baggage they said it is not allowed to leave luggage on airport, and I was not allowed to proceed to my security clearance until i get their luggage checked in. They were expecting me to pay **,*** rs for luggage that was not mine. I begged him, and he harrased me till end moment, unless u take these bags with u we will not allow you to board.
I have the following questions
Please provide me answers for ALL, or either contact me over phone for all the questions
*. Checkin gates close ** min prior to departure and boarding gates close ** min prior to departure, then how were the * pasenger allowed to depart? If this is flexible in smaller airport kindly share the document proving the same
*. As per the current rule, and even the spicejet rules, effective October **, only * checkin luggage is allowed, how do you expect me to checkin * luggage?
*. As per the passenger SOP on the Ministry of Civil Aviation aviation, the same is mentioned that * checkin baggage is allowed
*. Under what rule is it mentioned that I am not allowed to leave bag luggage at the airport? Kindly share the document. And if I am not allowed to leave the luggage at the airport, why were those * passengers allowed to leave their luggage?
*. No I didn’t accept their luggage. I was forced to because they were allowed to proceed to the security area, and neither they, nor the airport manager asked for my consent, by the time i would have said NO, they already were gone for security checking
*. I didn’t know the contents of the baggage, under what rule is it written that passengers can checkin baggage without knowing the contents of it?
