Extramarks - Forced Payment of Services

My sister and mother got to know about the services of Extramarks via our school. My family members thought that this would help my sister and therefore purchased the subscription. The company during the time of purchase said that the customer would be able to cancel their purchase within * months of the transaction.
My sister was discontent with their services, and thought of cancelling it. We tried to call the PoC but they did not take our calls. Finally we called the company via their number posted online. We kept on asking them to cancel our subscription but they irritatingly stated that as per the TnCs you did not cancel the purchase within the given timeframe & therefore you will have to keep on paying the amount for the next * years. We felt scared and decided to close our bank a/c itself, but we could not because the Extramarks mandate appeared as a loan amount in our savings account.
We feel that like many people we have been scammed, I request that stringent actions be taken against this company and that thousands of rupees of innocent people be saved.
