Aditya Sharma filed complaint against Zomato on May 13, 2019
At *:** pm on election day in Delhi I placed an order. It said that the order will be delivered in max ** mins. After *hr the status was "Restaurant is yet to confirm". I raised the issue with Zomato but no one responded. The order was important for me as there were people in my house who were on election duty. The status remained the same even after * hrs. That's when I called the restaurant they said the order is ready but your rider has not yet arrived. Finally after * hrs at around *:** am I received a message saying that the order was rejected because the restaurant cannot fulfil your needs. I mean seriously? Is that a joke? They took * hrs to find whether they can fulfil my order or not. Also to my surprise, Zomato marked my issue as "Resolved" without my consent. This is how they treat us?
