Narasimha Kamath filed complaint against Zomato on May 12, 2019
I made an order through Zomato from Shawarma Inc (Koramangala, Bangalore) on **th May **** at **:**pm.
A few minutes later I received notification that a valet has been assigned and has reached the restaurant while my order was still being prepared.
It went on for a while and when I checked the status, the delivery guy was some *km away from the restaurant and my food was still being prepared.
I called him and he said that the restaurant had closed and that he had contacted Zomato regarding it.
I found it to be okay and made another order (I did recieve that order)
I raised a concern with the chat support and I got a very delayed response while the waiting time was shown as * minute.
In the morning when I opened the app, I realized that Zomato has changed the status of my order to delivered and also marked a * star rating.
I try to contact the customer care again but they gave irrelevant replies and that a refund has been initiated.
And when I asked about it, they provided me with an order ID which wasn't even the one I had the issue with.
I haven't got a proper resolution from them other than the templates such as, "I hope the issue has been resolved."

My two years of blood & sweat got valued finally with Voxya. I got a full refund with no hustle after they received notice.
