Tirumalesh filed complaint against Zomato on Sep 25, 2023
My order number is #**********, and I placed it with Antique Kitchen, Dondaparithy, Vizag, on September **, ****, using the Zomato app.
The issue began when I noticed that the delivery status of my order had been marked as "declined." Perplexed by this, I immediately contacted Zomato Customer Care to inquire about the reason behind this unexpected development. To my disbelief, the representative informed me that the delivery driver had allegedly attempted to call me multiple times and, since I did not answer, the order was canceled.
I want to emphasize that I did not receive a single call from anyone during the time my order was expected to be delivered. Furthermore, it should be noted that the delivery address had been provided explicitly when I placed the order. Therefore, there was absolutely no need for the delivery person to call for directions.
This entire experience has left me deeply dissatisfied and frustrated. Not only was the food I had been looking forward to never delivered, but the response from Zomato Customer Care was equally unsatisfactory. I requested a refund for the amount I had paid for the food, considering that it was never delivered, but I was informed that this was not possible.
This level of customer service is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. As a loyal Zomato customer, I have come to expect reliable and efficient service, which clearly was not provided in this instance. I strongly urge you to rectify this matter promptly by issuing a refund for my order.
I insist that my hard-earned money be returned to me, as I have paid for a service that was never fulfilled. Failure to address this issue satisfactorily will lead to a loss of trust in Zomato's services, and I may reconsider using your platform in the future.
I kindly request that you resolve this matter without any further delay and provide confirmation of the refund process. Your immediate attention to this issue is expected and appreciated.
