Travolook - Flight ticket amount not refunded after cancellation

I booked a ticket on Travolook (www.travolook.in) website for my friend from Hyderabad to Visakhapatnam on ** May ****. It was an emergency case, and my friend had to reach the destination by the night (same date). Approximately ** mins after the booking, I got a call from Travolook agent informing that the ticket fare price had expired, and that I had to pay some Rs. **** more to hold on to the ticket. She told that she would send a payment link where I will have to pay the fare difference. She further asked if I wanted to keep the ticket or cancel it for a refund. This whole thing seemed fishy to me, so I asked her to cancel the ticket and provide me with a refund. She said she will go ahead and process the cancellation request. She further added that it will take approximately *-** business (working) days for the refunded amount to get credited to its original source
It has been more than * weeks now. There is no sign of refund till date. I have called the Travolook support number (****-***-****) many times. There is a long call waiting before one can talk to the agent, but it is not guaranteed the call will be answered by an agent as the call gets abruptly disconnected without notice. Every time I am able to connect to an agent, I get exactly the same response. They say that the refund is in process and it will take * business days more. After reading the reviews of other users on the internet about Travolook, I have decided to file a complaint for my refund
