*. myself aged about ** years and my wife aged about ** years booked our tickets from hyderabad to bangalore by Flight no.*e-***, which is supposed to depart at **:** am. we reported at the counter by **:** am. we are denied boarding pass on the frivolous plea that we got delayed by * minutes. all our efforts in requesting the staff on duty, got in vain. we are advised to go to the reservation counter and take new tickets if we want to travel.
*. cursing ourselves, we went to the reservation counter and took tickets for another flight by spending around Rs.****/- and purchased new tickets to go to Bangalore by flight no.*e-***, which is scheduled for departure at **:**.
*. we came to know that the flight no.*w-*** got delayed by more than ** minutes due to bad weather and it did not take off even at **:** am.
*. The moot point to be decided is:
a. When a flight is delayed by more than one hour, how can indigo airlines / its authorized employees could deliberately deny old couple to issue boarding pass.
In the light of above facts and circumstances, I request the authorities concerned to take appropriate measures to compensate us.
