Spice Jet Airlines - Flight delay for more than 3 hours with operational reason

I was traveling back from Kolkata to Ahmedabad. Spice jet called around * pm and told me that the flight is delayed for operational reasons. I searched for an alternative option but could not do anything as the flight tickets were too high for me. I could not get the refund as this is the only option left for me to go back to home. A bus ticket costing Rs.*** is also gone which I booked from Ahmedabad to Bhavnagar scheduled morning * am. There is more, i will be available at the office very late and probably it will cost me half day leave which is around ****. so in total due to this flight rescheduled, i am losing more than Rs. ****/-.
