Amrapali Srivastava filed complaint against Indigo Airlines on Sep 11, 2018
For a flight at *.** am on September **, ****, I reached the airport at *.** am but due to airport procedures it took me more than * minutes to reach the check-in counter. Due to armed forces discount used for the ticket, I wasn't allowed web check-in or the automated check-in at the airport. The person at the counter took good time to tell me that I'm ** minutes late, and can't get in the flight. I tried to reason with her but they told me to go to the reservation counter. I still had ** minutes for the flight but they didn't allow me to get in anyhow. I had paid around ₹**** for the ticket and the person at reservation counter told me to pay ₹**** more to get in the next flight (which would take more than double time than my original flight). I checked online and booked a fresh ticket for an evening flight at ₹****. As for the original ticket, I will only get a refund of taxes which is around ₹***.
This is highly irresponsible of the Indigo airlines since their procedures didn't allow me a web check-in. They could check my ID's at the airport after the check-in. On top of that, they didn't help me with a cost effective option. (Later, I got to know that they allowed other people a ticket for next flight for ₹**** only. They didn't even mention that option to me.)

I am very pleased with Voxya. They helped me resolve my issue without much hassle. Very impressed and satisfied.
