I booked * tickets in connecting flight of Air India from Srinagar to Delhi and Delhi to Udaipur for my family on March **, ****.My travel date was *th May. I received an e-mail on **th April that they changed my flight from Delhi to Udaipur. It was a misconnection as we were reaching delhi at **:** am and flight to udaipur was leaving at **:**. I called customer care multiple times to explain this connection is not possible as we cannot board *nd flight. They told that I can cancel my trip and they will give refund. I asked them to keep my Srinagar to Delhi tickets as ticket prices got increased and I have to pay rs.***** extra for the same flight. They didnot help with it and I have to book my tickets again for which I paid ***** rs extra then my earlier booking. Although there was no fault from my end I have to spend long time in calling customer service and at the end loss *****. I think I made a mistake in booking tickets with Air India. I don't understand how they can book such flight which is not possible to board. Very disappointed with air india. I booked my tickets in advance to get better prices. How it is fair they can cancel our flight any time and then customer has to suffer.
They should compensate for the price I am paying for rebooking.
