Mohd Asfar Afzal filed complaint against Air India on Jun 21, 2019
To whomsoever it may concern,
I had booked a domestic Air India flight (AI***) from Lucknow to Delhi on **nd March **** which was scheduled on **th June **** at *:**am - *:**am for Rs *,***.
Day before the scheduled departure, I got a message a from Air India Airline that "Air India flight AI*** LKO-DEL on **-Jun-**** stands cancelled. For further details please contact AI Toll Number ***********"
I had repeatedly called the AI toll free number for consecutive * days but there was no response from their side as they put my call on hold. After a week they picked up the call and said you must contact the travel agent for the refund.
This kind of activity comes under fraud. Airline should have initiated the refund as soon as they knew of the cancellation. They didn't even bother to arrange another flight in place of it. This is absolute disgusting. I need my hard-earned money back as soon as possible.
