Shubhayu Chakraborty filed complaint against Spicejet on May 27, 2025
I was flying from Indira Gandhi Airport New Delhi to Netaji Airport, Kolkata on flight number SG *** which was expected to leave on *:**- **:** on **th May, **** . Me along my mother were flying on this flight. When we reached the airport we were informed that flight got delayed from *:** to *:** but then around **:** we are informed flight is cancelled. We had medical emergency which is my mother's operation for which we had booked Spicejet morning flight on **th May. However it got cancelled as per some operational reasons. Me and my sick mother had to walk around the airport thrice searching for Spicejet Executives and our Luggage. We have been forced to cut a new Air India Flight which has costed **,*** rs per ticket (**,***) from T* at IGI airport due to inconvenience caused by Spicejet. Your staff could not reschedule for a new flight nor help us get another ticket. Therefore as your staff had stated on camera recording to mail here regarding compensation along with flight refund. As per DGCA guidelines provided for we are entitled to Rs *,***-Rs*,*** per ticket compensation. We hope for consideration to be given by Spicejet.
Coming to second matter i would like to bring to your notice that Spicejet Staff at New Delhi Airport Mr. Jai Singh Mr Vinay and Mr Rohit had been very rude to us passengers. They were using language such as "Humare Kya"," Hum kuch nahi kar sakte hein " and "Jo Karna hein Karlo". This is very wrong to harass passengers especially elderly passenger like my mother. I would like to raise an official complaint against them. It's very hurting and insulting to me
