Gaurav Sood filed complaint against Goibibo on Jan 14, 2020
I booked flight tickets for * passengers (Passenger names - P*, P*, P*, and P*) traveling from Delhi to Paris on *th Feb **** on flight AF-***. I booked these tickets on *nd Jan ****, by calling telephone booking (Phone no. ***********) service of Goibibo. When I received the tickets on *rd Jan. on WhatsApp, I found that one ticket for passenger P* is with the wrong name (sales agent had wrongly added KUMAR as a middle name for passenger P*, this was not to be done) mentioned on it. On *th Jan. I brought this matter to the attention of the Goibibo sales team by writing to them and requested them to correct this mistake. I was assured by the sales agent, who had booked my ticket, that he will look into this and get this sorted out. Till today this matter is not sorted out.
Another twist came to this case when today (**th Jan. ****) I checked the status of PNR on the Airline's website. On the airline's website (AirFrance.in) the PNR for passenger P* is associated with the passenger - P*. Also, passenger P*'s PNR is also associated with passenger P* (One passenger was issued * tickets for same flight - AF-***, taking-off at **:**hrs. and date - *th Feb.) Goibibo is not helping at all for the last ** days. I am not getting any replies to my emails also.
Most important, airlines do not allow name change on flight tickets. They ask to cancel the ticket and get a new booking. If I cancel the wrong ticket then also I will lose money because of Goibibo's mistake.
I hope they will listen if a complaint is filed against them.
