Urban Ladder - Faulty Bed design

I ordered an upholstered bed from urban ladder in October, ****. The bed was delivered to me on time. However, the slats on the bed have repeatedly cracked by normal every day use. When I contacted Urabn ladder for this issue, they sent over two guys who basically just wanted to put a screw through the broken slat which would not have resolved the issue. It was like putting a bandaid on a big gaping wound. I called the customer care representatives and told them that the product was still under warranty but they told me that they believe the issue is because of mishandling by us. This is absolutely incorrect. The bed is used by my elderly parents. There is no reason to believe that the bed was mishandled in any way. There are no children on the house who could have jumped on the bed or any other situation where this damage may have been caused due to poor handling. I believe that Urban ladder owes me a new, better product or a full refund.
