I purchased iPad *th generation (Apple) at the cost of *****₹ from Amazon.in on **th June ****. Order Number: ***-*******-*******, the cause of some issues regarding software I requested to replacement, so Amazon provided replacement on **th June **** regarding that product. However, now return/refund closed but the device is still in warranty. Previous month I observed one issue regarding display i.e. dust particles under display & one black spot noticed on screen when screen in off, so I submitted iPad at Apple authorised Service Centre ‘B*X Service Solutions India Pvt Ltd Anant Towers, Shop no. ** & **, First floor, Sykes extension, Rajarampuri main road, Kolhapur-****** Tel: ********** Kolhapur India’. On **th February ****, they ask me for paid service cause of they observed something modified in the device. I didn’t accept that cause of my device is still in warranty as well as having no physical and liquid damage. I attached delivery report with this grievance, kindly check it for details. I complain at Amazon customer care against the defective product on **th of February ****. Regarding the modified issue I contacted Amazon customer care on **th February, **th February, **th March, **th March, **th March and **st March ****. Also provided all details such as service centre job sheet, delivery report, Invoice of product & photos of iPad at the current stage. Amazon customer care gave me to report that they can’t do anything in this case now because they said they sold me the genuine product. Now I have a complaint against Amazon that they don’t provide me with a solution. Even in the above complaint, they didn’t help me anything but only try to extend resolution time.
Resolution from Service Centre/provider/Customer care
*. B*X Service centre- They found modification so denied for free service. And ask me for full exchange with the amount of *****₹.
*. Apple customer care- They uphold the decision of B*X Service centre.
*. Amazon customer care- Escalated the case but didn’t provide any service.
*Steps which I take
* Submit device at Apple Service Centre regarding display issue.
* Contact Apple customer care and Amazon customer care.
Issue (which I have) with Amazon.in
From service centre reports and engineer conclusions, I can firmly say that Amazon provided me with a modified device from the retailer. Even I can’t manage to observe because this type of issues is so complicated and micro level. So I want one of the following solutions from consumer court.
*. Direct Amazon to replace/ full refund regarding this product.
*. Direct Amazon to provide free service to me at any one of Apple service centre by their side regarding my display issue.
It’s above as I mentioned in consumer forums complaint
