Booked my travel via Akbar Travels portal, SpiceJet Flight from Srinagar to Bangalore for Nov ** ****.But citing operational challenge the flight got delayed for more than *+ hours in location of origin and * + hours for the connected flight. The timings were highly inconvenient for my wife and kids so she reached to SpiceJet staff on ground and I reached out to their customer care both advised to cancel and assured of full refund, with reference to clause where the flight if delayed for *+ hours is eligible for a full refund the same is written understand " Terms and Conditions " . However after following up for over a month now they say the full refund is not possible saying the passengers boarded the flight for one sector which is blatant lies and fabrication. Instead it was the ground staff who returned the checked in baggage, made entry in the security register mentioning the reason of passengers bot travelling and escorted them to gate after retrieving thier checked in baggage. No travel whatsoever was made and it is an open challenge if they can prove otherwise, besides causing suffering it is matter of grave concern where they are showing passengers as ' Boarded Flight ' instead of saying the passengers never boarded the flight and citing actual reasons.
