Complaint against YASWANTH GOWDA, OLA Auto Driver, Auto Number-KA**AL**** (RE). I have booked this Auto from my Residence, SJR Luxuria, Arekere, Bangalore-** on **/**/**** at about **:** AM upto ALPYNE Apt., Vaddarapalya, Banashankari *th Stage, Bangalore-** as I had a Dentist appointment at **:** AM. When he dropped me before the ALPYNE Apt. at **:** AM, instead of paying Rs.***.**/-, I transferred Rs.****.**/- through GPay. I realized the mistake when I received a debit message from the Bank, I immediately Called Yashwanth Gowda with the help of the Doctor (as the Auto Driver was not able to understand English nor Hindi but Kannada). Auto Driver, informed that the amount Rs. ****.**/- has been deposited in OLA office and he will get it from OLA only the next day, Sunday, **/**/****. The excess amount Rs.****.**/- will be transferred via GPay to me. Hence, he asked me to send him the Mobile number to pay through Gpay. I immediately sent him my Mobile number to his Mobile No. through WhatsApp. He also confirmed that he had received the same when I called him after I came back home.
Yesterday, Sunday **/**/****, I called him almost **/** times but he refused to pick up my calls. Hence, I wanted to escalate this to OLA management. I spoke to the OLA Customer complaint but the lady who attended said he can not help me as the amount was paid directly to the Auto Driver. I also informed that a detailed complaint mail with all details of the travel, Driver, Excess payment etc., as he is running the Auto under the name of OLA. ...and OLA management should take appropriate action to return the excess amount been paid. After talking to the lady, I understood that I was wasting time.
Even though the excess amount is not more but the way OLA driver trying to cheat, there will be lot many people who may fall in his prey. Hence, this complaint raised against the OLA Auto Driver and OLA.
