I would like to bring to your notice that the entertainment system for the entire flight AI*** from Melbourne to Delhi on ** July **** was not operational and was a massive disappointment as I paid $ *** for each of us with a total of $**** to upgrade to business class thinking that our flight journey will be smooth with a safe distance from the seat for my *.* year old daughter to watch kids entertainment but she was bored and understandably agitated as the entertainment system was not working at all.The flight is **.* hours long and for a *.* year old this was our primary reason to upgrade .
Whilst I understand technical difficulties can happen but this has been a pattern observed on my last few visits using Air India with entertainment unit failing to work for the whole flight for all seats /passengers in economy or business class.
A prestigious airline like Air India /Tata group should not treat its passengers like this ,rectify technical issues and as a good gesture refund my charges paid worth $**** on my Australian bank account ASAP.
My family boarding passes and the entertainment unit photo are attached for your resolution .
