Krishan Chand filed complaint against Hyundai Motors India Limited on Nov 7, 2019
I bought a car- model -i** Magna, Brand- Hyundai, on **th June **** from Khanna Hyundai, Yamunanagar. I got all the regular services and repair of my car through the authorized service center of Hyundai.
The engine of my car failed within only **,*** km run. During the sale, it was information about the product that it will run for more than *,**,*** km to *,**,*** km during normal conditions.
Thus as per “Consumer Act ****” I found –
*. “Defects in Product” - According to Chapter -*, Preliminary, Point no. (**) "defect" means any fault, imperfection or shortcoming in the quality, quantity, potency, purity or standard which is required to be maintained by or under any law for the time being in force or under any contract, express or implied or as is claimed by the trader in any manner whatsoever in relation to any goods or product and the expression "defective" shall be construed accordingly (Page *)
*. “False representation of standard” - According to Chapter -*, Preliminary, Point no. (**)(i)(a) falsely represents that the goods are of a particular standard, quality, quantity, grade, composition, style or model. (Page *)
I request the Hyundai Company, to return the total “purchase price” of the product and want to return the vehicle.
In addition to this financial compensation of the mental disturbance, I faced due to this.
