K Subramanian filed complaint against Irctc Indian Railways on Mar 21, 2020
I am a senior citizen aged ** years. For a pilgrimage visit, I booked through IRCTC tickets for my family of * members ( all are senior citizens above **s, and **s) for the following journeys. The State Government of Tamil Nadu directed the residents not to travel to the neighbouring States due the Covid**, and I cancelled the same on **th March ****. I incurred a total cancellation charges of Rs.****. Subsequently the Central Government/Railway Ministry cancelled the trains also and aqdvised every citizen not to travel anwwhere.
I am not a pensioner, and living on interests received which is meagre. I request to you kindly direct the IRCTC to refund the cancellation charges paid by me for the tickets.
