This is the exact email I sent to the ceo of the company. Haven't heard anything from them. It's been a week now.
Pathetic service by Ola.
This is not the kind of service expected from you guys. I booked an Ola Share on Saturday at *.** pm (**/**/****) from Sarjapura road - the cab reached, I boarded & gave the otp to driver. I saw * guys who were already in the cab - for sure they did not look like co-passengers. They looked like drivers' friends, I smelled alcohol and didn't feel safe so I got out of the cab immediately but the driver was asking me to pay the ride fare because I gave otp. I did not even sit for a minute after getting into the cab. Just because I gave otp the driver was reluctant to move the cab without taking the money. I call you guys during that situation & you all ask me to pay the money - I paid because I was concerned about my safety (clearly you guys were not so I had to be) because the driver and the-so-called-passengers got out the cab and were waiting for me to pay (usually the co-passengers won't bother if the money is being paid to the driver or not. And I have never come across any situation like this so far because I have been using Ola for quite sometime now). After I paid, the driver left - during all this your customer rep is still on call with me (clearly for no use) - he put me on hold for so long trying to reach to driver. Obviously the driver would not respond because he took the money and left the spot. Why would he respond ??
The issue was raised to your call center/email support team - they call me after * days to tell me that they cannot refund the amount through any other means other than Ola Money. I do not want to use Ola again so how do you expect me to use your Ola Money??? ( I did not pay the driver by Ola Money, I gave him cash. Obviously you cannot return by cash so I am asking Paytm or if there is any other option other than Ola Money). I spoke to * different people - clearly for no use. You guys are not going to compensate or do whatsoever for the situation I went through. But all I am asking here is to refund the money I paid for a ride that I did not take at all. My problem is clear and straightforward but you are all making it so complicated.
Since I do not have anyone to reach and explain the issue again I am posting here. Hoping not to get the same response again.

I spoke to maglin B first, secondly Chetan Kumar team coach. Third spoke to siddique from the same team yesterday.
Today I spoke to Rakesh - supervisor and Vinay - floor manager from the customer care team. I spoke to these two people for close to * hours, they are not ready to give me my money which I paid to the driver by cash via paytm or any other mode. I do not want to give my kyc details. I want my money by paytm or to my account because I paid to the driver by cash.
Mr. Bhavesh, you have to compensate me for the mental torture I have gone through talking to your representatives/TLs( clearly who are not ready to help me) for close to * hours and for this chain going around for more than a week.
Is it my fault that I booked Ola in the night time? What if something had happened to me then? Would you respond the same way.
Extremely disappointing. And am not expecting the same answer again.
