Respected Madam/Sir,
It is saddening to inform your kind concern, that I have been harassed, threatened and ridiculed by employees hired by Axis Bank.
On *th Sept. ****, I made the ill-fated transaction at a restaurant which led to several charges appearing on my Credit Card. On the same date itself, I received an e-mail from txnmonitoring.creditcard@axisbank.com alerting me of the several charges.
It was only on the **th Sept. **** that I read the email and noticed that my Credit Card had several unauthorized charges without my knowledge. I emailed back to Suchit Prabhu at txnmonitoring.creditcard@axisbank.com about the mishap and to immediately suspend my Credit Card, as well as, recover the spent amount as it was done thoroughly without my knowledge.
After this email, we had a chain of many more interactions in the form of e-mail where I insisted multiple times to recover the spent amount as it was unauthorized and without my prior knowledge. As a victim of this fraud, I cannot guesstimate how they forged or used my card to this extent.
I was then alerted by txnmonitoring.creditcard@axisbank.com that my card will be suspended and replaced, and this gave me hope that it will also be recovered as that specific point was not addressed. Since then, we had a few more exchanges of email and it furthered my belief that Axis Bank will handle my case.
However, on **th Nov ****, a couple of guys came from Axis Bank to my house and threatened with dire consequences if the Credit Card bill isn't paid. They pestered for more than an hour and had the continuous condescending overtone of calling us thieves. They called again towards the evening and have been pestering with repeated calls asking for "Rs. **,*** to Rs. **,***" since that day in a very rude(threatening) manner. They keep repeating to pay something between "Rs. ***** and Rs. *****" and that "just pay Rs. ***** and Rs. ***** and we will handle the case".
I would like to clarify, that all Axis Bank dues were cleared with two prior bill payments. And it would not be in my interest to pay the paid Credit Card bill of over * Lac ** thousand rupees, to then deny to pay the new bill.
It is simply a case of carelessness by Axis Bank to not guide me through my situation despite multiple e-mail exchanges. And to top it off, this constant harassment, pestering and threatening me is driving up my mind and inducing suicidal thoughts. I would like to make it clear that if anything happens to my mental health or physical health, it would be entirely Axis Bank's liability owed to your goons that you keep sending for bill amount recovery which I had disputed on the date of incidence itself.
I pray you will look into this matter and that I may get redressal from these circumstances as soon as possible such that I won't have to move to consumer court to fight for my claims and rights.
PS. I am attaching the names and phone numbers of the goons that have been driving me insane with harassment and threats; I am also attaching the full email exchanges between me and txnmonitoring.creditcard@axisbank.com right from the date of incidence:
