Myself Rochelle Britto- journalist @Economic Times.
This email is regarding my grevience with Oyo.
Below is the brief history of the terrible faced issue.
*- booked an oyo for a trip to Port Blair- Havelock from **-** December and @port Blair from **-**december. Name of the properties- for **-**dec- oyo ***** lee Meridian resort. And from **-** dec hotel nakshatra.
*. Payment done booking confirmed. On reaching the place the property denied entry saying they are not with oyo now and they will not accommodate us. After calling the customer care. With name Priyanshu- a senior relationship manager as he states was completely rude and did not give any solution and said that he will cancel my stay and asked me to look for a place on my own. After all he just hung up on my face.
*- constantly calling oyo for a resolution asked them to accommodate in another place but none responded to me and nor did they give me any solution.

I have a lot to say about it but cannot summarise it in this email. It was such a terrible experience.

For both my bookings I faced the same issue and went hunting for places. It was a new place I had put my trust on oyo but this is so unexpected. My entire trip was spoiler due to this as I had to spend my enjoyment Amounts on going and booking for hotels.

I am very pleased with Voxya. They helped me resolve my issue without much hassle. Very impressed and satisfied.

Even after cancellation of booking. Money not refunded yet.
I have booked an Oyo room today and made online UPI payment . The transaction was successful, money was deducted from my account but in the Oyo app it still shows payment pending.
I was denied check in at an oyo hotel after having a confirmed booking, I was told to pay extra to get a hotel room directly without a booking.
