Sunil Kumar Srivastava filed complaint against Max Bupa Health Insurance on May 20, 2021
Me, Sunil Kumar Baburam Srivastava and my wife , INDU SRIVASTVA are covered by health insurance policy no. **************( valid till **.**.**) for a sum of ** Lacs and ************* (valid till **.**.**). She COVID infection confirmed by RTPCR on **th Mar ** and due to high fever and other symptoms, She was admitted to Apex Multi specialty hospital Vadodara Gujarat on **th March and discharged on *rd April ****. All documents and receipt were submitted on **th April ****. I recd, SMS by Max Bupa that that they have recd. the documents and Claim ID ****** was allotted to Claim of Indu Srivastava. A clarification was asked by email dated *th May ****. The clarification was sent by email dated *th May ****.
I recd. An email on **th May **** :
“We regret to inform you that claim ID ****** of Indu Srivastava has been denied for settlement based on the terms and conditions of your policy with us. We apologize for the inconvenience caused due to this.”
There is no specific reason given for denial of claim. This is harassment of senior citizen like us in this pandemic.
