My mother passed away ** months ago. She had a demat a/c#******** where she made me registered nominee. Axis Bank employees wasted * months by providing conflicting info. My lawyer sent a legal notice and axis bank responded confirming that I am in fact the nominee of the deceased and asked for paperwork and notarized documents which I sent. Another few months passed in this process and then, last week Axis bank DP revealed for the first time that I need to send ***.** which I sent. Got e mail acknowledging receipt of funds and wrote Demat transmission is in process. Suddenly today, i received another email asking me to do the entire paperwork again and send same documents again. My one year has been wasted in settling this death claim. I could not invest in correct shares. Now, I am worried that they will keep on asking to resend paperwork again and again and keep control of my inherited demat account. I have complained to Axis bank nodal officer without much help. I want this demat a/c transmitted to my demat a/c in kolkata Main branch at earliest without further harassment.
