I made seven payments towards my Axis Bank credit card in December ****, including ₹**,*** and ₹**,***. However, I did not receive SMS or email confirmation alerts for all payments.
After raising a complaint, Axis Bank provided internal SMS logs showing confirmation for only five payments. Two payment confirmations are missing even in the bank’s own records for ₹**,*** and ₹**,***.
Despite repeated requests, the bank has failed to provide certified SMS delivery reports from the telecom service provider, which is the only valid proof of message delivery.
Due to the absence of proper payment confirmation alerts, I was unable to accurately track my dues. As a result, the bank wrongly charged ₹**,***.** as interest and ₹*,***.** as GST.
This clearly amounts to deficiency in service, lack of transparency, and unfair banking practice. The bank is relying only on internal logs without independent verification and has failed to address the core issue despite multiple complaints.
I request immediate reversal of all wrongful charges, provision of certified SMS delivery reports, and compensation for mental harassment.
