I am sharing my experience regarding Booking ID: GOFLISTAGTPX******* (Bangalore – Bangkok – Bangalore, **th October ****).
Despite repeated follow-ups and even serving a legal notice on **th September ****, Goibibo / MakeMyTrip has failed to correct the passenger name on my ticket to match my passport, placing me at serious risk of denied boarding and financial loss.
Key Points:
Customer care instructed me to shorten my name due to character limits and assured coordination with the airline for correction.
Multiple representatives, including Ms. Vandhana, Ms. Aanchal, and Mr. Abhishek, have not taken any corrective action.
Thai Airways has confirmed via email that the service provider must coordinate with them to correct the name.
I requested either a corrected ticket, an alternate Business Class ticket on the same dates, or a full refund of ₹**,***/-, but no resolution has been provided.
This lack of accountability, misleading guidance, and delay constitutes a deficiency of service, unfair trade practice, and mental harassment.
I am now compelled to escalate through consumer courts and regulatory authorities. I urge Goibibo / MakeMyTrip to take immediate action to resolve this issue and prevent further legal escalation.
