I would like to outline the specific issues I have encountered:
*. Misleading Booking and Mismanagement:
During the process of booking the room, I was assured by a representative named Rinku that I would be provided accommodation in Someshwara PG in HSR Layout. Regrettably, I later discovered that this PG is not managed by Colife, despite the booking amount of Rs. ****/- being collected by a Colive salesperson. This has caused me immense frustration and has made me question the transparency and reliability of the service.
*. Unprofessional Room Allocation and Communication:
Subsequently, since I already paid the booking amount of INR *,***/- I was told that the same can be adjusted in another Colive property so therefore I booked a room at Colive Barwon. While I was initially told that a specific room on fifth floor would be provided, I was informed just a day before my move-in date after I enquired regarding the arrangement that the room had been allocated to someone else and was not reserved in my name inspite of providing the confirmation the same night of visiting the property. This last-minute change has caused unnecessary stress and inconvenience. After multiple follow-ups, I was eventually allotted room ***. However, this room was subject to a pest control treatment due to bed bug and insect infestations. Despite the treatment, the infestation problem persists, with numerous bed bugs and insects still present in the room and on my mattress. This might lead to serious health issues with me for which I can’t stand the risk of staying on the same bed. Attaching herewith the video of bed bugs roaming on my mattress of today’s date as an evidence.
*. Lack of Responsiveness and Resolution:
I already communicated the same issue with the caretaker, Mr. Rajesh and also communicated with the sales person who arranged to book the room, Purnima from the Colive team before my move-in to which I was told that it will all be taken care of and I will be provided a clean and tidy room which will be insect/bug free. However, I am disappointed to report that my complaints have not received any proper response or resolution. This lack of communication and action has left me feeling unsupported and frustrated.
Given the gravity of the problems I have faced, I am left with no alternative but to formally request a complete refund of the booking amount and security deposit. I cannot continue to endure these inconveniences and substandard living conditions.
