flipkart cheated me of rs ****. they dumped me a defective product redmi * (od*******************) and are refusing to take it back. no discussions from their side before closure of calls, customer care executives are helpless (kriti, rahul and one more)
issue *:
closing my return request of my product on the last day of return policy without any redressal.
when i raised a return request on **.**.****, they deliberately closed it on **.**.**** without even discussing the matter with me and told me to go to the brand store (as if it is my fault that i received a faulty product). this was done to ensure to kill time so that i was not able to return my product in specific period of time.
issue *:
no response to my queries and completion of tech visit without any discussion regarding the problem
i had again complained to flipkart on **.**.**** to return my defective product. this time due to social media pressure, they agreed for tech visit on **.**.****. i had apprehensions regarding their tech visit because they had no documented policy for conduct of tech visit. i had requested for response to my queries atleast **-** times, however, no response was provided to me and my queries was closed without even any response from their side. on my continuous persuasions, my tech visit was rescheduled on **.**.****. the engineer which was assigned for tech visit (mr. piyush) simply refused to come to visit site despite the fact that that the place and time for tech visit was decided by flipkart only without any consultation from me. upon deliberations, the engineer agreed to send someone else who even was not competent enough to understand the problem. i told him the problem, he filled the job sheet, looked at the condition of the mobile and told me that the company do not comment upon the problems in the mobile and this is the duty of flipkart only.
mr. saif askil also told me that flipkart would take the mobile back from me and this job sheet is nowhere related to performance of the product. he made me believe him by whatsapp me copy of job sheet (attached for reference) wherein no comments was written by the engineer regarding resolving of the complaint. when i asked the purpose of tech visit, he told me that they are from outsourcing agency and they are here only to check that whether the mobile is damaged or not. if the mobile had been damaged then flipkart would not have taken the mobile back. however, since physical condition of mobile was good, therefore flipkart would take the product back from me. no discussion or troubleshooting was done by the engineer. the duration of tech visit was *-** minutes.
flipkart has again closed my request. this time when i saw their website i was shocked to see that flipkart has commented that the mobile is working fine after troubleshooting.
now my queries with flipkart is that:
*. why was my first ticket closed after * days by telling me that i should go to the brand store? if i had to go to brand store within ** days of purchase of mobile, then why would i go to flipkart at first place. to fool myself?? why can’t flipkart take responsibility for faulty product delivered to me? they can check the product in their internal units.
*. why was my second ticket closed without even intimating me the proposals of engineer who conducted tech visit? is this my responsibility to keep running after flipkart for the faulty product. how was tech visit concluded by flipkart. show me the comments of engineer which has proposed closure of call. what are the parameters by which the technicians can accept or reject my claim. are there parameters documented. if yes, show me a copy. if no, are tech visits concluded at the whims of flipkart?
*. can you believe that continuous hanging problem in phone can be checked and resolved in * mins by a person who does not even understands the basics of problem without showing him the screenshots. why did not the engineer inform me at the visit site that my mobile is working fine. is this a policy of flipkart that the engineer wont discuss what he is going to propose the solution.
*. do the technicians have any certification from either government or flipkart by which they can conduct tech visits. if they do have, forward me a copy of the same.
*. can flipkart close my queries without even making a courtesy call and telling me the reason for closing the call
*. why the procedure for return of redmi * was not indicated earlier at the time of return request. do flipkart believe that they can fool customers at their whims by increasing procedural time.
i can tell you one thing, flipkart. i can take this mobile to any workshop and certify you that it hangs during its course of usage. this defective handset can be taken back from me and checked by flipkart in its internal unit.
however, i wont allow you to cheat me of my hard earned money. i’ll take every action to blow your misdeeds in every corner of this world.
